Company says ship your luggage, don't lug it

Here's a new travel business idea, aimed in part at travelers with disabilities. The folks at The Luggage Club Inc. will take your luggage, including any medical or mobility equipment you might need, and ship it to your destination. You are saved the trouble of traveling with a bunch of luggage and the many hassles that can bring.
I'm just curious -- do you think this would work for you?

This is a great service! I recommend this for anyone traveling with luggage to a destination they will remain at for more than three days. Hotels are happy to store your luggage until you arrive. It is nice to travel without the hassle of keeping track of big pieces of luggage. I used to do a lot of long business trips overseas. These services were not available then, so I used standard carriers like DHL and UPS. With the extra security checks involved now this makes even more sense.

gdh -- Do you have any insight into whether this was more or less reliable than having the stuff -- in theory -- with you?
